Who is Poonam Pandey?

Poonam Pandey, born on March 11, 1991, is an Indian model and actress known for her bold roles. She made her Bollywood debut in 2013 with the film “Nasha.” Starting as a model in 2010, she gained attention for her daring choices. Pandey tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Sam Bombay, on September 1, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their wedding was a private affair at their Mumbai home, attended by close friends and family.

Poonam Pandey’s “death Stunt”

In a surprising turn of events, Poonam Pandey’s official Instagram account, supposedly managed by her team, shocked followers by spreading fake news about her demise from cervical cancer. The post claimed her death, sending waves of confusion and concern among her fans. However, Poonam herself later addressed the situation on social media, stating, “I am here, alive,” revealing that the whole episode aimed at raising awareness about cervical cancer.

While this unconventional approach to spreading awareness received mixed reactions, Poonam’s husband, Sam Bombay, expressed his happiness about her being alive.

Early Controversies

So, on September 11 2020 after she got married to Sam, things got pretty messy between Poonam Pandey and her husband, Sam Bombay. She filed a complaint against him, accusing him of molestation, threats, and assault. The drama unfolded in Goa, where Poonam was shooting for a movie in Canacona village. The whole incident led to Bombay’s arrest on September 23.

Now, this sparked a big controversy. Some folks accused Poonam of playing games and misusing IPC Section 498A, which deals with cruelty against a married woman. There was some confusion and debate around this accusation. Surprisingly, after all the legal drama, Bombay got released on bail.

Also in latest drama she tried to do this awareness thing for cervical cancer by pretending she was dead but All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) is not having it they want to file a complaint against her! Apparently, her little stunt hurt the feelings of many Indians.
