Men’s T20 World Cup Venue Ground:

The 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is about to happen, and it’s the ninth time they’re doing this Awesome tournament. The International Cricket Council (ICC) organizes it every two years, bringing together the best national teams for these fast-paced Twenty20 International (T20I) games.

This time, get ready for a thrilling cricket showdown happening in both the West Indies and the United States from June 4th to June 30th. It’s going to be pretty epic!

Something cool about this tournament is that, for the first time, matches will be played in the United States. It’s a big deal and adds a fresh vibe to the games by blending different cultures and creating new moments in cricket history.

Format of T20 World Cup:

“Among the 20 teams vying for qualification, they’ll be divided into four groups, each group having five teams. The top two teams from every group get to move ahead into what’s called the Super 8 round. During this phase, those qualifying teams will split into two groups of four.

From these groups, the top two teams of each group secure their spots in the next stage known as the knockout phase. This final phase involves two semi-final matches followed by the ultimate showdown, the final game, to determine the winner.”

Stadium And Locations:

Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, can hold up to 28,000 people.
The Brian Lara Cricket Academy located in San Fernando, Trinidad, has a capacity of 15,000.
Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana, accommodates up to 20,000 spectators.
The Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, can host 10,000 people.
Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, has space for 15,000 spectators.
Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown, Saint Vincent, has a capacity of 18,000.
Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, Florida, USA, has a large capacity of 40,000, and it’s shared with Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York, USA, which can hold up to 34,000 people.
Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas, USA, has a capacity of 15,000.
