‘Iron Cage’ Collapse at Ramoji Film City:

A shocking video captured the exact moment when the iron cage at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad collapsed, with Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah and President Raju Datla inside. Tragically, Sanjay Shah lost his life during the incident, while another executive sustained serious injuries. The unfortunate incident occurred during the silver jubilee celebrations of Vistex at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad last Thursday.

What is Being Captured During the Incident:

A widely circulated video on social media appears to capture the horrifying moment when the cables supporting an elevated iron cage snapped. In this incident, Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah and the company’s president, Raju Datla, were inside the cage as it plummeted to a concrete platform below. The mishap unfolded during a planned stunt for the celebration, where the duo entered the cage for a descent. Unfortunately, one side of the chain holding the cage gave way, causing a fall from about 20 feet and resulting in both individuals suffering multiple injuries.

What Happened Next:

After the incident, they were quickly taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, Shah didn’t make it and passed away while undergoing treatment, while his colleague is still in critical condition. In the video, you can see them waving to the crowd with fireworks in the background, likely part of a grand entrance stunt. However, the joyous celebration took a heartbreaking turn when the cage encountered a problem, resulting in the CEO from Mumbai losing his life.

Legal Actions Taken By Police:

The police took action against the organizers of the Film City event following a complaint from another company representative. According to the police, Shah suffered injuries to his leg and head, while Datla had a head injury. They were initially taken to Maxi Cure Hospital and later referred to Yashoda Hospital for better care. Unfortunately, CEO Sanjay Shah passed away from his injuries on Friday, and his colleague is still in critical condition. The police confirmed that they have filed a case against the Ramoji event organizers at Abdullapurmet Police Station, and they are currently investigating the matter.
